The Democrats of McLean County are hosting this year’s Mardi Gras Mambo on Saturday, February 18th to raise money for County Board candidates who will be running in 2024! Join County Board Members Elizabeth Johnston (D5), Lea Cline (D8) and Corey Beirne (D10) who will be cooking up some Mardi Gras fun.
Joe Strano will be making a delicious Chicken gumbo, while Lea is serving up some Red Beans and Rice (vegan). Lizzy and Lea will be making traditional and vegan king cakes and mixing up some Hurricanes and Side Cars*.
All tickets will include a choice of main dish, King Cakes (regular, filled, or vegan) and drink**.
Corey and the Twin City Footlifters will kick it up a notch with some old school New Orleans Jazz, straight out of the French Quarter. So grab those tickets and join us on Feb 18th at headquarters to celebrate!!
*NA Hurricanes and Abita Root Beer will be available upon request.
**We ask that all participants be prepared to show proof of age unless choosing NA drink as part of your meal.
All proceeds will be held by the Democrats of McLean County in an earmarked fund to support Democratic candidates for the McLean County Board.
