Dear County Chairs and Friends,

2020 is in sight! The weather is crisp, the leaves are turning, and petition season is upon us.

You are needed.

We have a lot to do between now and November 2020. Our job is to help fill and get Democrats on the ballot, find and train election judges & poll watchers, identify our voters, and get-out-the-vote! We can accomplish these things and help pass the Fair Tax.  You are part of the winning solution.

County Chairs are looking to fill the ballot. If you are interested in running for a position that does not have a Democrat running, contact us. Don’t know what offices are up or open, contact us.  Do not let the other side win just by getting on the ballot.

Outside of Cook County, ballot positions to fill include precinct committeeperson (PC). PCs are elected during the March 17, primary and are the Democratic County Party elected representative to their neighborhoods. They are the heart of the Democratic Party and our grassroots efforts. Many counties began to really grow their organizations by filling these positions showing their communities there were Democrats to vote for in their neighborhoods. Need more information? There are other vital opportunities as well.

Get Democrats on the ballot! Pass and sign petitions.

Help ensure the integrity of the election process! Be appointed by your Chair as a paid Democratic Election Judge or as a poll watcher. Poll watchers are the watchdogs on Election Day.

Identify voters and get them out to vote! Our candidates can’t win if we don’t know who our voters are and get them out to vote. We need you to help identify our voters through door-to-door precinct programs and voter registration programs. Once identified, we can get Democrats out to vote.

Show Democrat pride! Everyone likes to be part of a winning team. Wear your team proudly whether in tee shirt form, buttons, bags, or mugs. Wear your swag at parades, rallies, events, or to the store. Need swag? Go to store.ildcca.org!

The road to victory in 2020 starts now. It starts with YOU.
