All across the United States down ballot Democrats have been winning in districts that Republicans have historically held and that Donald Trump won by significant margins. In Illinois we saw evidence of this in the April 2017 Municipal Elections where Democrats won seats in cities and townships where Democrats haven’t won in over 40 years.
A Blue Wave is coming! The IDCCA and its partners are looking to actively recruit candidates to fill down ballot races where we are not challenging Republicans. These races are only County Wide (County Clerk, County Treasurer, Sheriff, Regional Superintendent of Schools) and County Board.
