DEM COUNTY CHAIRS VOTE TO ENDORSE KAMALA HARRIS FOR PRESIDENT
The largest grassroots Democratic organization in Illinois stands ready to
elect the first black woman President of the United States

Springfield, IL – On Monday, July 22nd, the Illinois Democratic County Chairs’ Association (IDCCA) conducted a vote of their statewide membership to consider the endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for the office of President of the United States. Indicating a strong show of grassroots support, Vice President Harris was endorsed by an overwhelming majority of the Democratic County Party Chairs in Illinois.

IDCCA President Mark Guethle released the following statement:

“This November we know that democracy will be on the ballot, and we need a strong leader at the top of the ticket to help prosecute the case against Donald Trump. Vice President Harris has dedicated her life to defending our values and fighting for everyday Americans. She has quickly brought together a large coalition of support that will be needed to stop Trump and his MAGA extremists. The IDCCA is proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with her in this fight.”
