The Paul Abella Trio is a unique band on Chicagos’s Jazz scene. The combination of guitar, bass and cajon is sparse and earthy. Their playing is undeniably funky, their choice in setlist is eclectic, and their sense of humor is immediately apparent within a minute or two of them being on stage. They’re going to have a good time and they’d prefer that you have a good time with them!

They can fit in a corner, dish out some blues, funk and soul with solid, thoughtful improvisations, while keeping merely anyone regardless of their musical tastes, tapping their feet all night long!
