Senator Elizabeth Warren to Headline IDCCA 2026 Brunch

Springfield, IL – The Illinois Democratic County Chairs’ Association (IDCCA) announced today that United States Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts will headline the organization’s annual County Chairs Brunch on August 19th.

The annual event is one of the largest in the Midwest and brings together Democratic County Chairs, elected officials, community leaders, and grassroots activists from across Illinois to celebrate the work of the state’s 102 Democratic county parties and prepare for the upcoming election cycle.

Senator Warren, a lifelong advocate for working families, consumer protections, and economic opportunity, will speak about Democrats’ plans to reverse the damage done by the Trump administration upon winning the midterm elections and energize Illinois Democrats to help make that happen.

The County Chairs Brunch is IDCCA’s signature event, recognizing the dedication of Democratic county leaders while bringing together organizers and elected officials to share ideas, strengthen relationships, and continue building the party’s grassroots infrastructure across Illinois. The 2026 County Chairs Brunch will feature Democratic leaders from across Illinois and specifically highlight the career of retiring Senator Dick Durbin.
